Upgrades and updates

Handy Day 2005 Professional and Handy Day 2005 Personal are powerful productivity and ultimate shell applications. Utilities of Handy Day 2005 Family are your personal assistants that care about your meetings and tasks, organize your day / week / month thus saving your time.

Update is a minor version change. Updates provide bug fixes and/or some improvements in functionality of a program. Updates are FREE OF CHARGE. This means that version 2.1 (as well as all next versions until 2.99) will be free for all who purchased version 2.0 of the product.

Upgrade is a major version change. Upgrades provide significant improvements in functionality. Upgrades are NOT FREE. This means that version 4.3 will be a paid upgrade from version 3.5 (as well as upgrades from all previous versions: 2.x, 1.x). Major version upgrades have a nominal upgrade fee of 50% of the product price.

Upgrading from Handy Day or Handy Day 2004

If you own Handy Day or Handy Day 2004 for Symbian UIQ 2.x software, you can upgrade to Handy Day 2005 Family for Symbian UIQ 2.x software for 50% of the product price. You will get an email with your Discount code during a few days after the product launch. If you did not receive the email, please write to support@epocware.com with the subject "Handy Day 2005 upgrade" and include the following information: your full name and email, date of the purchase and the order number.

Upgrading Handy Day 2005 Family

Handy Day 2005 Family for Symbian UIQ 2.x software has plugin structure. Handy Day 2005 itself and the initial set of plugins together with one-year subscription to the weather service form "Handy Day 2005 Family Personal" package. The above update and upgrade policies are applied to it.

We are also going to develop Handy Day for Symbian UIQ 2.x software product family further. This means that new plugins and skins will be developed in the future. They can form separate products and bundles and should not be considered as updates or upgrades to Handy Day 2005 Family Personal product.
